Dali Royal Crisis Part 2: Miao Mountain And Swallow Cave

Defeat the Chi Huo followers, question the Chief of Miao Ridge, and recover the letter from Swallow Cave 1.

Recommended Level

Recommended level 52 or higher. This arc crosses Wuling Mountain, BianJing, Miao Mountain, and Swallow Cave 1.

Story

The Chi Huo trail reaches Wuling Mountain and Miao Mountain. A letter held by Hercules of Miao Mountain draws Dali’s royal families deeper into the crisis.

Before You Start

  • Keep room for the Whistle of Hercules, Mt. Miao Letter, and collection items.
  • Bring enough healing for your chosen Wuling Mountain route and the Swallow Cave boss.

Route

  1. 1Speak with Gao Sheng Quan at Dali (192/190) and choose one Wuling Mountain route.
  2. 2Choose one Wuling Mountain route: defeat 10 Chi Huo White Followers and 10 Chi Huo Black Followers on the lower slopes, or defeat 15 Chi Huo Red Followers on the upper slopes.
  3. 3Complete only the chosen route, then return to Gao Sheng Quan at Dali (192/190).
  4. 4Speak with Mr Know-It-All at BianJing (177/185).
  5. 5Speak with Zhao Yan Nian at BianJing (161/179).
  6. 6Speak with the Chief of Miao Ridge at Miao Mountain (162/196).
  7. 7Defeat the Miao Ridge Warrior, then report to the Chief of Miao Ridge and Zhao Yan Nian.
  8. 8Return to Zheng Guan Zhi at Dali (199/183).
  9. 9Enter Swallow Cave 1 and collect 10 chamois from Miao Seal Protector enemies.
  10. 10Use the Whistle of Hercules in Swallow Cave 1 to summon Hercules of Miao Mountain. Defeat him and recover the Mt. Miao Letter.
  11. 11Return the Mt. Miao Letter to Zheng Guan Zhi at Dali (199/183).

Rewards

  • This part awards 383,980 EXP, 3 Gold, 43 Silver, 76 reputation, a school-route-appropriate level 40 weapon, character-appropriate level 44 chest armor, and a school-route-appropriate level 46 weapon.

If Progress Stops

  • Choose one Wuling Mountain route. The lower slopes require 10 White Followers and 10 Black Followers. The upper slopes require 15 Red Followers.
  • Use the Whistle of Hercules inside Swallow Cave 1. It summons Hercules of Miao Mountain for this quest stage.
  • If the Whistle of Hercules is missing or Hercules of Miao Mountain does not appear, return to Zheng Guan Zhi before attempting the summon again.
