Build a dragon boat, race up to 50 players in Quanzhou and spend Dragon Boat points on Thousand Shoulder Ornaments.
Speak to the Dragon Boat Match NPC in Quanzhou, choose Select Room, then pick from all eight rooms. Each choice shows the room name, racer count out of 50 and current status. Admission opens daily at 11:00 and 16:00 Cambodia time (UTC+7), and closes at 12:00 and 17:00 respectively. You must have joined a school. Carry a dragon boat in your inventory. Take off your mount and your weapon before entering. Other equipment can stay on. Each room holds up to 50 racers and needs at least two. Full rooms and races already starting or underway cannot be joined. Each player can start up to 3 races per day. A race counts when it starts, and the count resets on the next server day. Entry closes at the end of each opening hour.
During Month 4, successfully entering a Dragon Boat arena as a racer completes the Join Dragon Boat Racing daily mission. Finishing the race is not required. Claim the reward through Daily Missions. Reward: 1 Fantasy Star Ticket, not tradeable. This replaces the Join Mount HuaShan daily mission during Month 4.

The Dragon Boat Match NPC builds one of seven boat types for 10 Rabbit Tail and 10 Red Sand. The six special boats each give one race skill, which works only while riding the boat. Every boat, including the plain Dragon Boat and the Close-Combat Boat, is used up after a race that has started. Build a new boat for the next race. Abilities below follow the in-game boat guide.

Complete one lap and reach the finish before the other racers. Follow every checkpoint along the course.
Board your boat in the preparation area. Watch the countdown for the start.
Pass all 49 checkpoints in order. Use your boat skill to slow other racers. You cannot change boats during a race.
Your finishing order decides your rank and Points. After the first finisher, the remaining racers have up to 60 seconds to finish.

Each race awards a fixed number of Dragon Boat points by final rank, regardless of how many racers took part. Every ranked racer also adds one to their participation count.

The NPC's redeem option opens the Dragon Boat Point Shop, where points are spent on Thousand Shoulder Ornaments. These are the same ornaments Mount HuaShan offered in Months 2 and 3. The shop works only while the event is open. Male and female characters receive the matching build of each shoulder ornament. The earlier dumpling and equipment offers are no longer available.

The Dragon Boat manual shows two boards: Top 10 Dragon Boat Point and Top 10 Fastest Record. The NPC gives one manual to a player who does not have one. A racer's entries update after race rewards, at the finish line, and when the racer opens a board or the Point Shop. The points board uses a racer's current point balance, so spending points lowers their place. The game's own Ranking window has two dragon boat tabs that stay empty. The manual boards replace them.
